Sang Il Park is a researcher in the area of computer graphics. He received his Ph.D degree in Computer Science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2004, where he performed research on on-line generation of human locomotion. He worked for Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University for two years as a postdoctoral fellow. After that, he moved to Tokyo, Japan to join Digital Human Research Center of National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. He stayed there for about 5 months. Now he is affiliated with Department of Digital Contents of Sejong University, Korea as a full-time lecturer. His current research interest lies on synthesizing character animation and visually simulating natural phenomena.
